Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., LTD. (zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., LTD.) is located in Ningbo city, Zhejiang Province, formerly zhejiang Refinery which was established in 1975 and transferred to the former SINOPEC corporation in 1983.

Zhenhai Refinery is sinopec's largest crude oil processing base and refined oil export base. Since 2010, sinopec has ranked first in profit for 10 consecutive years, and has comprehensively built an industrial pattern of "big oil refining, big ethylene, big wharf and big storage". Zhenhai Refining & Chemical co., Ltd. currently has a refinery capacity of 23 million tons/year and 1 million tons/year ethylene.

This project is one of the major projects in the field of new energy in Guangzhou Development Zone, with a construction investment of approximately 9 billion yuan. The project aims to achieve safety and green environmental upgrades through on-site renovation while maintaining the current crude oil processing capacity of 12.75 million tons per year. While ensuring the supply of clean energy in local areas, and in accordance with the industrial planning requirements of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangdong Province, and Guangzhou City, we will extend the chemical new materials and hydrogen energy industry chain in the middle and lower reaches, and promote the high-end and green development of the petrochemical industry.
