This project is one of the major industrial projects in Shanghai in 2022. The main unit is Shanghai Jinshan Baling New Materials Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Shanghai Petrochemical and Baling Petrochemical. On the one hand, the project can give full play to the advantages of Shanghai Petrochemical's resources, relying on Shanghai Petrochemical's raw material supply, public utility sharing, environmental protection governance, and regional services. On the other hand, it can give full play to the market advantages of East China, meet the needs of high-end thermoplastic elastomer products in surrounding areas, promote the development of new materials and deep processing industrial chains in the Yangtze River Delta region, and promote local economic and social development.
